We've been back from Europe for some time now. It was a great experience to play in that part of the world for the first time. Germany, Holland, Sweden...we will be back at some point. Stay tuned.

Hello everyone,
Sorry about the lack of updates. We just got back from Petrozavodsk, Russia. We played a show with Terror over there. Huge thanks to Sanya & Angry Sound System + all the kids in Petrozavodsk who came to the show. Once again, we had a blast! Also thanks to our driver and Nasta for the place to sleep.
To The Bitter End CD/LP has been out now for a while. In Finland it should be available in most record shops. If you live elsewhere, you can get it from for example Interpunk or order it straight from Full House Records or Fast Rock Factory. If you're interested in the vinyl, contact Turn & Run Records.
We got a couple of tours coming up in May. First we're gonna do a little mini tour in Finland with our dutch friends, Human Demise. Remember to check out the new bands on those shows too: Reckless Crew, Ills, "Ruttopuisto Straight Edge" & Remissions.
Then, we're heading to Germany, The Netherlands and Sweden. This is gonna be our first tour abroad so we're looking forward to it and hope to see you all at the shows. Check out the tour dates here! Still a lot of dates that aren't 100% confirmed but it's gonna happen since we already booked the ferry to Germany, hah. So if you can help with any of those dates, don't hesitate to contact us ASAP!
Also, don't forget the show at Nosturi, Helsinki this Friday: FULL HOUSE RECORDS is celebrating its 10th anniversary. We're honored to play there. As you may know, it's your last chance to see Down My Throat, so don't miss it.
FEBRUARY 7
Our full length "To The Bitter End" will be released at the end of this month so be prepared! Hopefully we'll be selling it at he show in Pori on February 16. There will also be new t-shirts and hoodies available!
There were some setbacks with the Finnish tour with Another One Dead - Jyväskylä and Tampere shows were cancelled due to reasons that were out of our hands.
In Tampere we are doing our best to find a replacement show for the cancelled date. In Jyväskylä we are playing with Furious Styles and Bolt on February 28. Unfortunately Another One Dead won't be playing there. Check out all of the tour dates here!

Happy new year everyone!
Check out a new song from the upcoming full length: RISE FROM THE SILENCE mp3 (5.84 MB). The song is also on Myspace.
The name of our debut full length is going to be "To The Bitter End". CD version will be released in February 2008 by Full House Records & Fast Rock Factory. There's also gonna be a limited vinyl version on Turn & Run Records.
We also have a Finnish tour coming with Another One Dead in February-March 2008. Dates will be announced soon!
NOVEMBER 26
A quick note to those who didn't catch it on Myspace yet. We are happy to announce that we have joined two really good Finnish hardcore/punk labels - Full House Records & Fast Rock Factory! They will release our upcoming full length and it is coming out in February. More info soon!
By the way, don't forget to show up at Inferno in Tampere on Dec 21, we are playing there with BOLT. That will our last show for this year.
OCTOBER 30
Okay we know the website hasn't been updated in a while, sorry about that. That doesn't mean we haven't been busy! We have been playing some shows and most of all, we recorded our upcoming full length in August-September. Check out pictures of that session here. Vesa Sinkko of Another One Dead was the guy behind recording and he's also gonna mix it. The album is coming out in the beginning of 2008 but more news about that later. We're gonna put a brand new song on our Myspace page in a few weeks so be on the lookout!
In the mean time come check us out live! Next weekend we're gonna play in Turku and Helsinki.
JULY 18
Down My Throat had to cancel their show at Töminä club, Ilosaarirock last Friday so we got to play there at their spot on a really short notice. It was an amazing show, thanks to everyone who was there!
Don't forget LPR HARDCORE SUMMERFEST next weekend! We will be playing there on Saturday. We wanna see windmills and circle pits like last time!
Also, we put a new song "Momentary" to Myspace. It will be there till the end of the week so go take a listen while you can.
JULY 2
Just confirmed, we will be playing with Misery Index at Husaari, Lappeenranta next Saturday. How cool is that! Come and show your support! Check out the flyer here.

FEBRUARY 3
There has been a line-up change in Worth The Pain. After playing drums for us since 2003 Jolle is now no longer in the band. The decision was made in good terms and there's no bad blood between us. Thanks for all the years, mate!
Our new drummer is Markus who also plays in Downspin. The first chance to catch us live with the new line-up is in March when we got two shows coming up: one in Tampere on March 16 and one in Turku on March 17. See ya all there!

I guess you thought this day would never come. Anyway, here it is: our new website! Enjoy and browse through.
We got some news.
As some of you may have noticed we have been playing with a slightly different line-up lately. Jermu moved to Turku and because of the distance and lack of time he is no longer in Worth The Pain. Once again Pekka has switched instruments and he is the new guitar player now. We got a new guy playing bass called Heikki. You might know him from his other bands One Hidden Frame and No One Is Safe. We'd like to welcome Heikki to the band and thank Jermu for his years in Worth The Pain!
On My Own Records is releasing a 4 way split 7" which includes a song from Another One Dead, Black Betsy, Loss Of Humanity and Worth The Pain. Our song on the 7" is called "Dead Promises". Expect the split to be out this summer!
Otherwise things have been rather quiet this year since our drummer is doing his obligatory military service. We haven't played that many shows but there is one coming at Lappeenranta Hardcore Summerfest on 07/07. It's a 2 day outdoors fest with every active LPR band playing. See you all there! Then in September we're gonna do a minitour in Finland with Bleed Into One (GER), more info about that later.
Also, new shirts are on the way! We'll let you know once those are ready. We plan to make hoodies, too!
