Hello and welcome back to Hellstone Records website. The label is going so slow, it's almost dead, but I guess that's no surprise to anyone familiar with us. Times are rough, the world changes and the people behind labels have to move on with their lives. What's essential is that the WEBSHOP is still there and all the RECENT RELEASES are still available directly from us and a couple of other places -look at the links on the left.
We are yet putting a children's music CD produced by Tanja Uusitalo out. There's a real band called Penikkatauti behind it, who consist of guys from Anal Thunder, Rejected, Kyre & Duunarit, etc. The final track list and release date are yet to be confirmed. The songs have been recorded and mixed by now and the ever fantastic part of collecting money and finding sponsors is going on right now. MP3 sample and more news coming soon.

Hello there. Small updates here and there. I fixed the top and left frames and added some useful links. I can't control the whole thing, as you can see. (KOC has promised to make a totally new page for us in 2010). Hopefully it doesn't looke like a mess. Although all I'm worried about is that the useful links are there. You should be able to find and buy the stuff you want quickly - not having to waste your time wondering around some shitty relic pages from the 90's.
Arkham13 CD has been availabale for a while. The band guys in NY sold their share (200 CD's) in a couple of days, so the CD will be noticed. Better be quick to get your copy while they last.

The Prostitutes' new 7" called "Belle ringer" was supposed to be out next week, but it's delayed due to problems with line-up. The new line-up is:

NEW RELEASE: ARKHAM 13: BLOODFIEND CD
It's Derek NEGLECT'S (!!!) second best band! Old school thrash, death and doom mixed with hardcore intensity. Definitely not lazy or boring retro shit, and definitely nothing "nu". "Bloodfiend" was supposed to come out years ago, but the band wasn't lucky with labels. Derek contacted us about this unreleased, yet fully mixed and mastered CD, and we were more than happy to help out in releasing the CD by one of our youthhood heroes. The 7" will contain 3-4 songs, that will please fans of Buzzcocks, Johnny Thunders and Barse! Another One Dead: No Coming Back 7" finally out - after 6 months of delays
This is a follow up to Another One Dead's debut full length "Come What May", the "Chinese Democracy" of Finnish hardcore. In the tested tradition, the release dates have come and gone, but it's worth the wait. The blood red 7" contains two songs, which both are re-works of older hits. "Another One Dead" has been previously released on the self titled MCD in 2000 (Full House). "No Coming Back" has appeared only on a split demo tape with Black Betsy in 1998. Musically this 7" sees Another One Dead going to a more straight forward, crunchy harcore, and reducing metal elements.

Check out this new CD!
It's a split CD, where you get two albums on one: D'CORNER BOIS from Birmingham, England has got 10 new songs. "Raging CONTEMPT style punk with sussed lyrics. Like the very best of UK80’s anarcho combined with great DEAD KENNEDYS guitar sound", as Trev put it! "Singles & Rarities" by BARSE (rip) contains the songs from The Heartburns split and Better Be Ready 7"s, AND in addition, 10 unreleased demo songs, that Gash and Andy wrote and recorded prior to "Negative Reaction" CD (2001).
Barse's side has been thought out and compiled by Trev (Negative Reaction zine). It's 12 EUR ppd in Finland and Europe and 15 EUR ppd elsewhere from us -> htr at lprhardcore dot net. If you live in the UK, get your copy from Trev, D'CORNER BOIS or Punk Shit Records.

AOD 7" is put on hold at the pressing plant, because of problems with artwork. Too fuckin usual, but these douchebags at GZ could have informed us a month earlier about it, not after I'd contacted them for missing shipment on delivery date! There were no pre-orders made, though, so what the fuck...

Ciao! Hell's Tone Bookings got some news for you -> SHOWS
ANAL THUNDER's record release date is moved backwards to Wednesday 2 April. It's because the show at Nosturi (11.4.) was cancelled and another one was found at Tavastia with I Walk The Line on Friday 4 April. It's nicer to have the record out by the record release party,you know. (An usual HTR record release party is celebrated without records). Sounds like a tight plan once again, keeping in mind, that the recordings of the album are far from finished at the moment.

ANTTI TUSKA & VÄHÄMIELISET: "Kosmista suhinaa" live 7" is available now! Order it for 5e Suomi /6e Europe /9e elsewhere (postpaid). ANOTHER DEAD's new 7" single "No Coming Back" is ready to go to pressing in next week. We will start guessing about a release date right after that. When he's not finishing the recordings and mixing of their own single, Vesku from Another One Dead is accompanied in Rottala by ANAL THUNDER, who is recording their new full length album there. The album is supposed to be out on CD (Full house Records) and 12" LP (Hell's Tone) on 9th April. Rejected is teaming up with Stranded (Helsinki, Finland) for a split 7" on a new label called Kanavakaupungin Levyt. THE VERTICALS and us have been planning of a 10" EP, which will come with a comic. KYRE & DUUNARIT hasn't called it quits and it seems that they will even put out yet another release this year. MAMBO HAMMER from Lappeenranta is one interesting motherfucker of a band. They are 3-piece like Kingston Wall, hauntin' and surfin' like Verticals, instrumental, in the red in garage punk style, and contain members from Anal Thunder, The Verticals and Pronssinen Pokaali. If gods of cosmos are willing, they will have either a CD or vinyl release out on HTR by summer 2008. The vinyl version for BARSE's "If you Can't Fuck 'Em, Cut 'Em Up" is put on hold for a while, but not deleted...

ANTTI TUSKA & VÄHÄMIELISET: Kosmista suhinaa - Live in Lappeenranta 7" is currently being pressed in the pressing plant. Shouldn't be a long wait until it's available.
ANOTHER ONE DEAD recorded vocals for their next release No Coming Back 7" in the weekend and insisted the recordings and mixing are complete "soon".
ANAL THUNDER will record a new LP during the winter. It's gonna be more PUNK than the band has been in years. The new songs are better. The band is wilder and even O-P performs drunk again (he has quit his 1 1/2 year drinking break).. Plus, the record will be recorded in ROTTALA and Hell's Tone Records will put it out on VINYL. CD version will be out on Full House Records. Sometime in 2008.
Anal Thunder has dropped their co-operation with Unity Music. Their shows are now booked solely through Hell's Tone Bookings (that site is updated, too).
HTR distro will make another trip to Tampere on Saturday 27 October at a record fair in Vastavirta-klubi.

It will finally include live songs only, because the band's studio sessions this far have been drunk disasters and it seems a studio record will never happen for them. If that didn't tell you the story yet, ANTTI TUSKA & VÄHÄMIELISET (named after a Finnish pop star Antti Tuisku) is an hardcorepunk band from Lappeenranta, who are known for being drunk as fuck on and off stage and always having a hilariously violent, raging live set. Coming next on Hell's Tone Records is a 45rpm 7" single from Another One Dead! It's called "No coming back" and it contains two reproduced and re-recorded versions of older songs. The title song "No coming back" is a classic, which originally appeared on AOD/Black Betsy -split demo tape back in '98. The second song is from the Full House Records CDep (2000).
