Hello and welcome back to Hellstone Records website. The label is going so slow, it's almost dead, but I guess that's no surprise to anyone familiar with us. Times are rough, the world changes and the people behind labels have to move on with their lives. What's essential is that the WEBSHOP is still there and all the RECENT RELEASES are still available directly from us and a couple of other places -look at the links on the left.
We are yet putting a children's music CD produced by Tanja Uusitalo out. There's a real band called Penikkatauti behind it, who consist of guys from Anal Thunder, Rejected, Kyre & Duunarit, etc. The final track list and release date are yet to be confirmed. The songs have been recorded and mixed by now and the ever fantastic part of collecting money and finding sponsors is going on right now. MP3 sample and more news coming soon.

Hello there. Small updates here and there. I fixed the top and left frames and added some useful links. I can't control the whole thing, as you can see. (KOC has promised to make a totally new page for us in 2010). Hopefully it doesn't looke like a mess. Although all I'm worried about is that the useful links are there. You should be able to find and buy the stuff you want quickly - not having to waste your time wondering around some shitty relic pages from the 90's.
Arkham13 CD has been availabale for a while. The band guys in NY sold their share (200 CD's) in a couple of days, so the CD will be noticed. Better be quick to get your copy while they last.

The Prostitutes' new 7" called "Belle ringer" was supposed to be out next week, but it's delayed due to problems with line-up. The new line-up is:

KEVIN PROSTITUTE- VOCALS, GUITAR
SEXY BOY MIKE- BASS GUITAR
BRYAN "fucking famous" CRAZY- SKIN BASHER

We wouldn't like to promise a new release date for "Belle Ringer". They are re-recording some of the songs and let's say it's gonna be finished, when it's finished!
We are very happy to tell you THE VERTICALS have joined Hells Tone Bookings. These guys will make us a ton of money! In addition, Jussi has started booking gigs for small town punks SCW.

The Prostitutes had a little trouble in the recordings of "Belle Ringer" 7", 'cause their drummer had to go to rehab (How does it sound so familiar?). I hear the recordings are soon ready anyway, don't worry...

NEW RELEASE: ARKHAM 13: BLOODFIEND CD
It's Derek NEGLECT'S (!!!) second best band! Old school thrash, death and doom mixed with hardcore intensity. Definitely not lazy or boring retro shit, and definitely nothing "nu". "Bloodfiend" was supposed to come out years ago, but the band wasn't lucky with labels. Derek contacted us about this unreleased, yet fully mixed and mastered CD, and we were more than happy to help out in releasing the CD by one of our youthhood heroes. Our next release is "Belle Ringer" 7"ep by The Prostitutes! You read it right, it's the semi-legendary US punk band from the nineties, who have recently made a comeback of sorts. The 7" will contain 3-4 songs, that will please fans of Buzzcocks, Johnny Thunders and Barse! The Verticals' new album is gonna be released on Friday! This time we made it half way, because the CD's are in our hands, but 10" vinyls might arrive a day or two late.

Oh yeah, the release date of "Belle Ringer" is TBA.

Another One Dead: No Coming Back 7" finally out - after 6 months of delays

This is a follow up to Another One Dead's debut full length "Come What May", the "Chinese Democracy" of Finnish hardcore. In the tested tradition, the release dates have come and gone, but it's worth the wait. The blood red 7" contains two songs, which both are re-works of older hits. "Another One Dead" has been previously released on the self titled MCD in 2000 (Full House). "No Coming Back" has appeared only on a split demo tape with Black Betsy in 1998. Musically this 7" sees Another One Dead going to a more straight forward, crunchy harcore, and reducing metal elements.

Check out this new CD!

It's a split CD, where you get two albums on one: D'CORNER BOIS from Birmingham, England has got 10 new songs. "Raging CONTEMPT style punk with sussed lyrics. Like the very best of UK80’s anarcho combined with great DEAD KENNEDYS guitar sound", as Trev put it! "Singles & Rarities" by BARSE (rip) contains the songs from The Heartburns split and Better Be Ready 7"s, AND in addition, 10 unreleased demo songs, that Gash and Andy wrote and recorded prior to "Negative Reaction" CD (2001).
Barse's side has been thought out and compiled by Trev (Negative Reaction zine). It's 12 EUR ppd in Finland and Europe and 15 EUR ppd elsewhere from us -> htr at lprhardcore dot net. If you live in the UK, get your copy from Trev, D'CORNER BOIS or Punk Shit Records.
